Abstract

LEVEL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HOW TO MAINTAIN DENTAL HEALTH AND MOUTH IN PATIENTS VISIT TO POLY DENTAL CLINIC PRATAMA KARYA PRIMA SESETAN DISTRICT IN YEAR 2018 ABSTRACT Knowledge of how to maintain oral hygiene is very important to be known by the public to improve the health of the teeth and mouth. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about how to maintain oral health in patients who visit the dental clinic Primary Clinic Works Prima Sesetan in June 2018. Type of data collected in this study is the type of primary data. This research is a descriptive research. The total study population amounted to 86 people. The results showed that the level of knowledge about how to maintain the highest dental and oral health with sufficient criteria of 40,70% (35 people) and the lowest with criteria less 6.97% (6 people). The average level of knowledge about how to maintain oral hygiene is 69 with sufficient criteria. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the average level of knowledge about how to maintain oral health is 69 with sufficient criteria.
