Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE IN PNEUMONIA PATIENTS WITH INEFFECTIVE AIRWAY CLEARANCE AT OLEG WARD MANGUSADA BADUNG HOSPITAL 2018 ABSTRACT Pneumonia is a health problem in the world because of the high death rate, not only in developing countries but also in developed countries like the United States, Canada, and countries Eropa. Pneumonia be the leading cause of death from infection in the United States as many as 53 667 deaths that occurred in in 2011. the process of inflammation in pneumonia resulting in increased secretion production and cause no clinical manifestations that appear ineffective airway clearance. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to describe the nursing care of patients with pneumonia ineffective airway clearance. The method used in this research is descriptive method with case study approach on two patients with pneumonia in hospital room Manguasada Oleg Badung. The results of this study indicate the first and second assessment document is obtained subjective data of patients said shortness of breath and coughing, objective data of the patient to be using the O2. The second document nursing diagnoses of patients there is not difference with reference to the theory of researchers. Interventions are planned in the first document and the second is the management of airway clearance. The action taken is to position the patient to maximize ventilation (semifowler), provide education on causes of airway is not effective, the use of a nebulizer. After three days of action being taken, the problem is not resolved, continued intervention. Keywords: Nursing care, pneumonia, ineffective airway clearance
