Abstract

THE REPRESENTATION OF BLOOD LEAD LEVEL OF 54.801.45 GAS STATION’S OPERATORS ABSTRACT Background: Transportation is a supporter thing of the societies activities nowadays, the enhancement of the number of the society makes the needs of the transportations increase too. As a result there is an increase of the air polutions which causing the bad impact for the environtmental, because tainted by Plumbum (Pb), Nitrogen oxide (NOx), Hydrocarbons (HC), and Carbon Monoxide (CO). Plumbum is a additive that added into the petrol vehicle that can give a bad impacts, one of the bad impacts that can cause by plumbum is the liver disfunction disease. Plumbum can get in human body by respiratory system, digestive system, or dermal system in small scale. Gas station operator is one of society’s group which susceptible of this Plumbum exposure. Purpose:The purpose of this research is to describe the gas station’s blood lead level which in this case the gas station is 54.801.45 gas station in Matahari Terbit that has 15 operators as the population that will get selected by specified criteria, so we got 13 respondents as the samples. Methods:The type of this research is descriptive with Purposive Sampling technique that conducted from Januari 2020 until May 2020. Results: The results of this research showed that all the gas station operators or 100% respondents has normal blood lead levels which is under 25 mg/dl. Conclusions: For all the respondents are expected to maintain their conditions and lifestyles. For the next researchers who have the same type of research or study are expected to pay more attentions in choosing the analysis methods to be used in the study. Keywords : Blood lead levels, plumbum, Gas station operator’s GAMBARAN KADAR TIMBAL DALAM DARAH PETUGAS OPERATOR SPBU 54.801.45 ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Transportasi merupakan penunjang kegiatan masyarakat saat ini, peningkatan jumlah penduduk menyebabkan kebutuhan sarana transportasi semakin meningkat. Akibatnya terjadi peningkatan polusi udara sehingga menimbulkan dampak buruk terhadap lingkungan karena dicemari oleh asap kendaraan berupa Timbal (Pb), Nitrogen Oksida (NOx), Hidro Karbon (HC), dan Karbon Monoksida (CO). Timbal merupakan zat aditif yang ditambahkan dalam bensin kendaraan yang dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif, salah satunya yaitu gangguan fungsi hati. Timbal masuk ke dalam tubuh manusia melalui saluran pernafasan, saluran pencernaan, dan kulit dalam jumlah yang kecil. Petugas SPBU adalah salah satu kelompok masyarakat yang rentan terpapar timbal. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kadar timbal dalam darah petugas operator SPBU yang mana dalam hal ini adalah SPBU 54.801.45 Matahari Terbit, dengan total populasi petugas operator SPBU adalah sebanyak 15 orang yang diseleksi sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan, sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 13 orang. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan teknik Purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Januari 2020 hingga Mei 2020. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua atau 100% petugas operator SPBU yang terlibat sebagai responden memiliki kadar timbal normal yang berada dibawah 25 mg/dl. Simpulan:Untuk seluruh responden yang memiliki kadar timbal yang masih dalam batas normal diharapkan untuk terus mempertahankan kondisinya dan pola hidupnya. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya yang mengambil penelitian sejenis agar memperhatikan metode-metode analisis yang akan digunakan. Kata kunci : Kadar timbal dalam darah, timbal, petugas operator SPBU
