Abstract

High interest is expected to give a passion for learning and will produce good performance and will eventually become a graduate /dental nurse qualified and professional. There are several problem in achieving the process of learning achievement, this situtation need to be addressed. The Study aims to determine differences in students academic achievement PMDP strip with academic achievement utul track student from the departement of nursing dental force 2010-2012 Poltekkes Denpasar. The method used is descriptive analytic method with cross sectional approach. Population 86 2010-2012 student of the departement of dental nursing Poltekkes Denpasar. With simple random sampling technique to track the number of student 42 of 44 student PMDP utul path. Data colection method used is a closed questionaire, the data is processed by the editing, coding, scoring and tabulating. Most have a very satisfactory achievement index. Result of statistical test mann whitney U Test with a cofindence level of 95% (a = 0,05) over the result P=0.000 < 0.05, which means that horfused and H1 accepted that it can be concluded that the difference in achievement between student PMDP lane track utul, this study expected to be used as information for the institution of sppecialization and academic achievement in student of academic year 2010-2012 Dental Nursing Departement Poltekkes Denpasar, which can assist the institution in making and implementin new student admission system design that can increase student achievement for the better Keyword : Selection test interest, interest, as well as student's academic achievement
