Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE FOR PATIENTS HIV / AIDS WITH NUTRITIONAL DEFICIT IN CENDRAWASIH WARD WANGAYA HOSPITAL 2018 ABSTRACT HIV / AIDS is a disease that attacks the human immune system. Nursing problems that commonly occur in patients with HIV / AIDS one of which is a nutrition deficit, where the intake of nutrients is not enough to meet the needs of metabolism. This study aims to describe nursing care in HIV / AIDS patients with nutritional deficits in Cendrawasih ward Wangaya Hospital in 2018. This type of research is descriptive research with case study design using observational nursing documentation. This research was conducted in April 2018. The samples used were two people who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that there are similarities between the two HIV / AIDS patients who experienced nutritional deficits in documentation of nursing care in the room. Similarity lies in the data assessment, nursing diagnosis is lifted, intervention, implementation and evaluation. However, there is little difference with the theory that made reference researchers. This happened because of hospital policy and different theories referenced. This indicates that the documentation of nursing care is influenced by the theory referred by nurses in hospitals Cendrawasih ward Wangaya and researchers. The results of this study are expected to be used as guidelines by hospitals Wangaya to revise nursing care standards that have been used and the formulation of diagnosis using a reference standard of Nursing Diagnoses Indonesia.
