Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE FOR DIABETIC MELLITUS ULCER PATIENTS WITH PERIPHERAL PERFUSION INEFFECTIVE Study At Cendrawasih Ward Wangaya Denpasar Hospital 2018 ABSTRACT Diabetic mellitus ulcer is partial thickness or whole (full thickness) of the skin area extending to the underlying tissues of the skin, tendon, muscle, bone or joints that occur in a person suffering from Diabetes Mellitus (DM) disease, resulting from elevated blood sugar levels. The common nursing problems caused by diabetic ulcers are ineffective peripheral perfusion which can lead to inhibition of peripheral blood flow. This study aims to determine the description of nursing care in diabetic ulcer patients with peripheral perfusion is not effective in Cendrawasih Wangaya Ward Denpasar in 2018. Type of research used is a descriptive study with case study design of two patients who observed in depth using documentation studies by observing the patient's nursing documents. The data collection tool is an observation guideline. The results showed that there were similarities between two diabetic ulcer patients who had peripheral perfusion ineffective in documenting nursing care in the room. However, there is little difference with the theory. The expected outcomes for hospitals, especially nurses, are to increase the knowledge and skills of documenting nursing care to the current reference of the SDKI and making nursing plans concerning peripheral perfusion are not effective. Keywords: Desciption of Nursing Care, Diabetic ulcer, peripheral perfusion ineffective.
