Abstract

THE REPRESENTATION OF URIC ACID LEVEL ON DRIVER TOUR TRANSPORTATION WAHYU BARUNA SANUR. ABSTRACT. Uric acid is result end from catabolism a substance that named purine. There are several factors which stimulate the increase of uric acid such as age, genetic, high purine consumption, withstand excreting urine, long work, alcohol, and long period of sitting down habit. Tour transport driver tend to experience high risk effect of it. This research is purposed to discover the uric acid level suffered the tour transport driver Wahyu Baruna in Sanur. The samples in this research were 11 drivers chosen in random sampling. The uric acid level checking was done in Enzymatic Colorimetric method specifically using peroxidase. The result of the research discovered that 81,8% of them have normal level of uric acid, and 18,2% suffer high level of uric acid. The high level of uric acid is dominated to the age range 41-50 about 18,2%, long work >10 year about 18,2%, with sitting duration >4 hours/day about 18,2%, withstand excreting urine >30 minute/day about 18,2%, high purine consumption >3 time in a week about 18,2% and alcohol consumption >3 time in a week about 18,2%. Based on the result above it can be concluded high level of uric acid experienced by the respondents with the age range 41-50 years old with long work, sitting duration, withstand excreting urine, high consumption of purine and alcohol. Keywords: uric acid, tour transport driver. GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA SOPIR ANGKUTAN WISATA WAHYU BARUNA SANUR. ABSTRAK. Asam urat adalah hasil akhir dari katabolisme suatu zat yang bernama purin. Peningkatan kadar asam urat dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor umur, genetik, konsumsi tinggi purin, menahan buang air kemih, lama bekerja, konsumsi alkohol, dan lama duduk. Sopir angkutan wisata mempunyai risiko tinggi terhadap penyakit asam urat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar asam urat pada sopir angkutan wisata Wahyu Baruna Sanur. Sampel penelitian adalah 11 orang sopir angkutan wisata yang dipilih secara random sampling. Pemeriksaan kadar asam urat dilakukan menggunakan metode Enzimatik Kolorimetrik peroxidase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sopir angkutan wisata dengan kadar asam urat normal sebesar 81,8% dan 18,2% kadar asam urat tinggi. Kadar asam urat tinggi lebih didominasi pada kelompok umur 41-50 18,2%, lama bekerja >10 tahun 18,2%, dengan lama duduk >4 jam/hari 18,2%, menahan buang air kemih >30 menit/hari 18,2%, dimana dengan mengonsumsi makanan tinggi purin >3 kali dalam seminggu 18,2% dan mengkonsumsi minuman beralkohol >3 kali dalam seminggu 18,2%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kadar asam urat tinggi terjadi pada responden umur 41-50 tahun dengan lama bekerja, lama duduk, menahan buang air kemih, konsumsi tinggi purin dan alkohol.
