Abstract
Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease where the characteristics of the condition are abnormal metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, resulting in elevated blood sugar levels. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to describe nursing care in Diabetes Mellitus patients with impaired tissue integrity in Sahadewa Ward Sanjiwani Hospital. The method used in the preparation of this scientific paper is a descriptive method with a case study approach on two diabetes mellitus patients. Subjects used in this case study are 2 subjects in 2 cases of the same picture of nursing care diabetes mellitus with impaired tissue integrity. The results of nursing care research in patients with diabetes mellitus ranging from assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation. The main diagnosis is impaired tissue integrity. Actions taken are to examine the integrity of the skin/tissue, monitor vital signs, bathe the patient in bed, installation of infusion, treat wounds, collaboration with nutritionists, give an information about diabetes mellitus disease, treatment and care, and wound care, and symptoms of infection, drug delegation. After 3 days of action, the problem is not resolved, the intervention continues.
