Abstract

Abstract: Users of Intra Uterine Device (IUD) are the most contraceptive users after injection users, but users of IUD contraceptives in Denpasar are still low in the working area of Technical Implementing Unit Of Regional Office. Puskesmas I Dinas Kesehatan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. The purpose of this study was to know the characteristics of the acceptor of IUD contraceptives in the working area of Technical Implementing Unit Of Regional Office. Puskesmas I Dinas Kesehatan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a survey approach. The results of this study showed that respondents who choose to use IUD are mostly mothers aged 20-35 years 57.89%, Multipara parity 78.94%, the last education level of secondary school 81.57%, and private workers 86.84%. Referring to the results of research that has been implemented in healthcare professionals in the research is expected to always provide information and counseling about the IUD as clear as possible and as needed and for the next researcher is expected to continue the characteristics of other IUD acceptors so as to increase knowledge for researchers at once can add users IUD contraceptives from the explanation that we have given to respondents.
