Abstract

Description of Families Care Nursing of Diabetes Mellitus With Ineffective Healt Maintenance at UPT Kesmas Sukawati 1 Gianyar ABSTRACT The incidence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in the world recorded as many as 371 milion people aged 20-79 years. DM is a disease that can not be cured, blood sugar levels are very important. The monitoring of blood sugar concentration is very important to be done by families who always accompany a patient. But many families who do ineffective healt maintenance which means the inability to identify, manage, and find assistance to maintain health. The purpose of this study to determine the Families Care Nursing Diabetes Mellitus with Ineffective Healt Maintenance at UPT Kesmas Sukawati 1 Gianyar, the type of research used is descriptive with case study design which was held in April of 2018. The subjects used is 2 clients according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of this study are based on the criteria of result and measurements on te observation sheet. On client I is family already able to do health maintenance, by preparing meals according to diet and supporting clients to do physical exercise is cycling. On client II is family already able to do health maintenance, by preparing meals according to diet and supporting clients to do physical exercise is jogging. This study is expected to increase the familys knowledge about the care and treatment of diabetes mellitus. Keywords: DM, Ineffective Healt Maintenance
