Abstract

Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the airways that involves many cells and elements with classic symptoms of asthma, wheezing, coughing, and abnormal breathing or dyspnea. Asthma is caused by several factors starting from genetic, due to allergies, respiratory infections, medications, weather, work environment, exercise and stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of nursing care in asthma patients with gas exchange disruption in Tabanan hospital in 2020. This study used descriptive method with case study design on two subjects using documentation by observing nursing documents. The results showed that there were no differences in the theories used by researchers from the assessment to evaluation. Both subjects experienced symptoms according to the theory used by the researcher, in diagnosis section, the diagnoses are same, only there were some differences in the symptoms experienced by subjects, in intervention stage the same actions were formulated, the implementation stage was given slightly different action, evaluation which done using the SOAP method. Based on the results of case studies that have been carried out, it is hoped that this research can be used as a basis for further research with different methods so that the results obtained are more optimal. Keywords: Asthma, Disruption Of Gas Exchange, Nursing Care Asma merupakan gangguan inflamasi kronik saluran napas yang melibatkan banyak sel dan elemennya dengan gejala klasik asma ada tiga yaitu mengi, batuk, dan sensasi napas tak normal atau dispnea. Asma disebabkan beberapa faktor dimulai dari faktor genetic, karena alergi, infeksi saluran nafas, obat-obatan, perubahan cuaca, lingkungan kerja, olahraga dan stress. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada pasien asma dengan gangguan pertukaran gas di rumah sakit Tabanan tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus pada dua subjek dengan menggunakan studi dokumentasi yaitu dengan mengobservasi dokumen keperawatan pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan teori yang digunakan peneliti mulai dari proses pengkajian hingga evaluasi. Kedua subjek mengalami tanda gejala sesuai dengan teori yang digunakan peneliti, pada bagian diagnose, diagnose yang ditegakkan sama, hanya saja ada beberapa perbedaan pada tanda gejala yang dialami subjek, pada tahap intrevensi dirumuskan tindakan yang sama, tahap implementasi diberikan tindakan yang sedikit berbeda, evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode SOAP. Berdasarkan hasil studi kasus yang telah dilakukan, diharapkan penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk penelitian selanjutnya dengan metode yang berbeda sehingga hasil yang didapatkan lebih optimal.
