Abstract
Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease that is usually on the gastrointestinal tract. The pathophysiology of this disease is an increase in stomach acid causing anorexia nausea and vomiting. Anorexia if not addressed in a prolonged period of time will cause the occurrence of nutritional deficits. Nutritional deficits requiring nursing care. This research aims to know the description of the nursing care of typhoid fever in children with nutritional deficit. This research uses descriptive method with the draft case studies. The subject is studied namely nurses who perform nursing care on children's fever typhoid patient 2 are observed to use the documentation in the Anggrek Ward BRSU Tabanan. Data collection tools used in the form of sheets of observation. A method of data analysis in this research in the form of data reduction, the presentation of data and verification of the withdrawal of the conclusion. Based on the results of the case studies, analysis, there is a difference with the theory. A nursing diagnosis is enforced hipertermia. Planning made a diagnosis adjusted to enforced. Implementations there are several actions that lead to nutritional deficits. Evaluation using the SOAP with the problem resolved, summed up the research indicates that there are similarities between the child's fever typhoid patients in nursing care in the documentation, but there are some differences with the theory be used as a reference by researchers. This indicates that the documentation of nursing care are influenced by theories set as a standard by the nurse and researcher. Therefore, it is recommended the nurses are expected to perform the documentation detailed and comprehensive nursing as well as use the standard in accordance with the latest scientific developments.
