Abstract

ABSTRACT The Relationship Between Duration Of Hemodialysis With Uremic Pruritus Occurrence In Chronic Renal Failure Patients End stage renal disease or chronic renal failure is a disorder of renal function, to repair of renal function should be performed long-term hemodialysis. In the process of undergoing hemodialysis, hemodialysis patients often suffer various complications, one of them is pruritus. The purpose of this literature review is to know the relationship between duration of hemodialysis with uremic pruritus occurrence in chronic renal failure patients.Using 3 databases that is Portal Garuda, DOAJ, and Google Scholar, which were sought from 2006 to 2019 in the form of research and reviews that discussed pruritus in patients undergoing hemodialysis. The keywords are pruritus, hemodialysis, and chronic kidney failure are used to search at electronic databases. After being selected, there were 5 journals that discussed the related variables.Based on the study of 5 journals, the results obtained 1 journal states there is a correlation between duration of hemodialysis with uremic pruritus occurrence in chronic renal failure patients and 4 journals states there is no correlation between the two variables.The conclusion of this literature is there was no correlation between duration of hemodialysis with uremic pruritus occurrence in chronic renal failure due to the development of improved dialysis techniques. Keywords: Pruritus, Hemodialysis, and Chronic renal failure ABSTRAK Hubungan Lama Hemodialisa Dengan Kejadian Pruritus Pada Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik Penyakit ginjal tahap akhir atau gagal ginjal kronik merupakan penyakit gangguan fungsi ginjal dimana untuk memperbaiki fungsi ginjal tersebut perlu dilakukan terapi hemodialisa dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Dalam proses menjalani hemodialisa, pasien hemodialisa sering mengalami berbagai komplikasi salah satunya adalah pruritus. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui lama hemodialisa dengan kejadian pruritus pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik. Menggunakan tiga database yaitu Portal Garuda, DOAJ, dan Google Scholar yang dicari mulai tahun 2006 – 2019 berupa penelitian dan review yang membahas mengenai pruritus pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisa. Kata kunci pruritus, hemodialisa, dan gagal ginjal kronik digunakan untuk mencari pada database elektronik. Setelah diseleksi, didapatkan 5 jurnal yang membahas variabel terkait. Berdasarkan telaah dari 3 jurnal, didapatkan hasil 1 jurnal menyatakan ada hubungan lama hemodialisa dengan kejadian pruritus dan 4 jurnal menyatakan tidak ada hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penulisan ini adalah tidak ditemukan adanya hubungan antara lama menjalani hemodialisa dengan kejadian pruritus pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik karena perkembangan teknik dialisis yang semakin baik.
