Abstract

AN OVERVIEW OF NURSING CARE TO INFANT WITH RESPIRATORY DISTRESS SYNDROME WITH INEFFECTIVE BREATHING PATTERN IN NICU ROOM RSD MANGUSADA YEAR 2020 ABSTRACT Respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) is a respiratory distress syndrome caused by a lack of surfactants. The main problem that often arises in RDS babies is ineffective breathing patterns. Ineffective breathing patterns are inspiration or expiration that does not provide adequate ventilation. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of nursing care in RDS infants with ineffective breathing patterns in the NICU room at Mangusada Hospital. The type of research used is descriptive with a case study design conducted in April 2020. The subjects used were two documents documented by nurses who fulfilled the researchers' inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained are the assessment of the first subject and second subject leads to the reference theory used by researchers but not all major and minor data appear in the assessment. The diagnosis of the two subjects was not different from the reference theory. The interventions of the two subjects have similarities in theoretical references but, which are used less than theoretical references. There are similarities in nursing implementation with theoretical references, however, fewer are used than theoretical references. Evaluation using SOAP methods according to the reference theory. This research is expected to be used as material for the development of science in the field of nursing both for the Denpasar Ministry of Health Polytechnic Institution and for the Mangusada Regional Hospital. Keywords: RDS, Breathing, Nursing care GAMBARAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA BAYI RESPIRATORY DISTRESS SYNDROME DENGAN POLA NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RUANG NICU RSD MANGUSADA TAHUN 2020 ABSTRAK Respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) merupakan sindrom gawat nafas yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya surfaktan. Masalah utama yang sering muncul pada bayi RDS adalah pola napas tidak efektif. Pola napas tidak efektif merupakan inspirasi atau ekspirasi yang tidak memberikan ventilasi yang adekuat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada bayi RDS dengan pola napas tidak efektif di ruang NICU RSD Mangusada. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus yang di lakukan pada bulan April 2020. Subyek yang digunakan adalah dua dokumen yang didokumentasikan oleh perawat yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu pengkajian dari subyek pertama dan subyek kedua mengarah kepada teori acuan yang digunakan peneliti tetapi tidak semua data mayor dan minor muncul dalam pengkajian. Diagnosis dari kedua subyek tidak terdapat perbedaan dengan teori acuan. Intervensi kedua subyek terdapat kesamaan pada acuan teori tetapi, yang di gunakan lebih sedikit dari acuan teori. Implementasi keperawatan terdapat persamaan dengan acuan teori namun, yang di gunakan lebih sedikit dari acuan teori. Evaluasi menggunakan metode SOAP sesuai teori acuan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dibidang keperawatan baik bagi Institusi Politeknik Kemenkes Denpasar dan kepada pihak RSD Mangusada.
