Abstract
NURSING CARE DERCRIPTION OF CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DESEASE WITH IMPAIRED GAS EXCHANGE IN NAKULA WARD SANJIWANI GIANYAR HOSPITAL 2018 ABSTRACT Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a group of lung diseases consisting of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, and pulmonary emphysema. The pathophysiology of this disease there is an increase in air resistance that can cause problems of nursing impaired gas exchage. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to describe the nursing care of patients with COPD with impaired gas exchange. The method used in the preparation of scientific papers is a descriptive method with a case study approach on two patients with COPD in Nakula Ward Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital. Based on the results of this case study, the study found that there was a difference with the theory, nursing diagnoses enforced by gas exchange disorders. Planning as large as theory is only one difference. Implementation there are three actions that are not done namely chest physiotherapy, suction and ventilator. After three days of action, evaluated using SOAP with unresolved problems and continued interventions. Based on this research is expected to nursing service using the results of this study into guidelines to provide better nursing care. Keywords : COPD, Impaired Gas Exchange, Nursing Care
