Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE WITH GIVING HEALTH EDUCATION TO OVERCOME DEFICIT OF KNOWLEDGE GOUT ARTHRITIS PATIENTS (Case Study in the Work Area of the Public Health Unit Sukawati I Gianyar in 2020) ABSTRACT Noncommunicable diseases are chronic diseases that are not transmitted from person to person. One noncommunicable disease is gout arthritis. Gout arthritis is a disorder or abnormality of purine metabolism, which is characterized by increased accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints. Knowledge deficit is the absence or lack of cognitive information related to a particular topic. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of nursing care by providing health education to overcome the knowledge deficit in gout arthritis patients in Work Area of UPT Kesmas Sukawati I with the type of research used was descriptive with a case study design. Data collection is done by observation and documentation. The results of this study were 2 respondents who suffered from gout arthritis in Banjar Pamesan, Ketewel, Sukawati, Gianyar experienced a knowledge deficit caused by lack of information exposure. The nursing process that has been carried out for the first patient has been achieved in accordance with the results criteria and the second patient has not been achieved entirely this is due to the ability or knowledge of each different individual. It is expected that the performance of Public Health Centre in providing optimal and comprehensive services to patients and families who suffer from gout arthritis. In addition, to improve health status and maintain harmonious relations with the community in Work Area of UPT Kesmas Sukawati Key words : gout arthritis, knowledge deficit GAMBARAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN DENGAN PEMBERIAN EDUKASI KESEHATAN UNTUK MENGATASI DEFISIT PENGETAHUAN PADA PASIEN GOUT ARTHRITIS ( Studi Kasus Di Wilayah Kerja UPT Kesmas Sukawati I Gianyar Tahun 2020 ) ABSTRAK Penyakit tidak menular merupakan penyakit kronis yang tidak ditularkan dari orang ke orang. Salah satu penyakit tidak menular yaitu gout arthritis. Gout arthritis adalah gangguan atau kelainan metabolisme purin, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya timbunan kristal asam urat didalam persendian. Defisit Pengetahuan adalah ketiadaan atau kurangnya informasi kognitif yang berkaitan dengan topik tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan dengan pemberian edukasi kesehatan untuk mengatasi defisit pengetahuan pada pasien gout arthritis di Wilayah Kerja UPT Kesmas Sukawati I dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini 2 responden yang menderita gout arthritis di Banjar Pamesan, Ketewel, Sukawati, Gianyar mengalami defisit pengetahuan yang disebabkan oleh kurang terpaparnya informasi. Proses keperawatan yang telah dilaksanakan kepada pasien pertama telah tercapai sesuai dengan kriteria hasil dan pasien kedua belum tercapai seluruhnya hal ini disebabkan oleh kemampuan atau pengetahuan yang dimiliki masing-masing individu berbeda. Penelitian ini diharapkan kinerja puskesmas dalam memberikan pelayanan dapat secara optimal dan komprehensif kepada pasien maupun keluarga yang mengalami gout arthritis. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan dan tetap mempertahankan hubungan yang harmonis kepada masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja UPT Kesmas Sukawati I.
