Abstract
QUALITY DIFFERENCE OF WASTEWATER WANGAYA HOSPITAL DENPASAR CITY IN INLET AND OUTLET YEAR 2020 Abstract The hospital produces a variety of hazardous waste that needs attention because it is feared that it will negatively impact the environment around the hospital. This study measures the influent quality, effluent and effectiveness of WWTP in terms of Temperature, TSS, TDS, BOD, COD, NHȝ and Total Coliform parameters. Waste water samples were examined at the Bali Provincial Health Laboratory and the Bina Medika Laboratory. Laboratory results are compared with the Governor of Bali Province Regulation No. 16 of 2016 concerning Wastewater Quality Standards for businesses and / or health service facility activities. The test results showed the influent parameters for Temperature 29.7 ° C, TDS 2592 mg / l, TSS 350.5 mg / l, BOD 61.6 mg / l, COD 57 mg / l, NHȝ 26.72 mg / l and Total Coliform 2,600,000 MPN / 100 ml. While the effluent results for Temperature parameters are 28.1 ° C, TDS 274.8 mg / l, TSS 20.7 mg / l, BOD 21.5 mg / l, COD 51.7 mg / l, NHȝ 26.7 mg / l and Total Coliform 1470 MPN / 100 ml. The conclusion from this study that the treatment of Denpasar City Wangaya RUSD wastewater with a Biofilter system there are differences in the quality of wastewater at the inlet and outlet as well as the WWTP has been effective in reducing parameters in accordance with the required quality standards of waste. Suggestions to the IPSRS Section of Wangaya Hospital to routinely monitor WWTPs. Keywords: Inlet, Outlet and Effectiveness
