Abstract

The use of plastic materials is increasingly widespread because it is strong and not easily damaged by weathering. The purpose of this research is to find out the level of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of traders about the management of plastic waste in the Yehembang Market in 2020. The results obtained about the level of knowledge of traders in the management of plastic waste are as many as 5 people (16.70%). 10 people (33.30%) have good knowledge. The attitude of traders is as many as 8 people (26.70%) bad attitude and as many as 7 people (23.30%) have good attitude. Traders' behavior, namely 4 people (13.30%) had bad behavior and 6 people (20%) had good behavior. The conclusion of the results about the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of traders in the management of plastic waste is considered quite good. The suggestions that can be given to the Jembrana Regency government through the ranks below include the puskesmas that occupy the Yehembang market, so that they always inform the traders about how to manage plastic waste in the Yehembang Market through regular outreach activities.
