Abstract
Abstract. Support is very important in carrying out all forms of activities. Support from the project will affect a persons obedience or adherence to implement the recommendation. Support required to make a person become obedient. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adherence support to pregnant women taking iron tablets. This study is an analytical study with a pretest-posttest design with control group prospective approach. The sample consisted of two groups of pregnant women who constituted the control and treatment groups, where each group consists of 35 members of the sample. Pregnant women are expected to answer a questionnaireabout the support and compliance. If the prospective respondents meet the inclusion creteria of the wives were asked to sign a letter of consent to be respondents, while the husbands of pregnant women to ask for participation in the teratment group and the intervention with counseling about the support a husband to his wife for taking iron tablets,the husbands in the control group no intervention. The results showed there is a strong and meaningful relationship between a husband with adherence support pregnant women taking iron tablets. Keywords: husband support, pregnant women, compliance,
