Abstract
Flies is one of the insects (insects) that belong to the Diphtera Order, which acts as a vector of disease transmission. Jackfruit fruit other than as food, jackfruit sap can be used as an adhesive. The purpose of this study is to find ways to reduce the number of flies safely, easily, cheaply and environmentally friendly. The research method is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted using jackfruit sap trap with three treatment groups namely durian, molasses, and control in a broiler chicken coop. The results of the study with the Kruskal Wallis test with sig 0,000 showed that there were differences in the number of flies trapped in each treatment group. The conclusion of the research shows that fly trap with durian treatment is the most effective because it is able to catch flies with the highest average of 87.7 with a percentage of 67%. Suggestions for further researchers are expected to find a way to maintain the adhesive power of jackfruit sap so that it can last longer.
