Abstract

Abstract: Physical complaints experienced by post-placental IUD acceptors. The purpose of this study to determine the physical complaints experienced by postplacental IUD acceptors. The research method is descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The collection of data by using a questionnaire with 43 respondents. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. The results obtained in this study is the complaint most widely experienced by the respondents, pain in the pelvis as much as 25 respondents (58.1%) and abdominal pain as much as 20 respondents (46.5%) and no respondent (0%) who expereineced expulsion. The dominant physical complaints experienced by respondents based on age, aged 20-35 years is pain in the pelvis as many as 22 people (68.7%). Physical complaints based on the number of children, respondents who had children 2-4 is pain in the pelvis as many as 16 people (64%). Physical complaints on respondents by duration of use, users post placental IUD for one year or more is predominantly abdominal pain as many as 11 people (57.8%), while less than one year experience pain in the pelvis as many as 16 people (66.6%). The results showed the need acceptor obtain health education about the side effects of contraceptive use and complaints that may arise. Abstrak : Keluhan Fisik Yang Dialami Oleh Akseptor IUD Post Plasenta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keluhan fisik yang dialami oleh akseptor IUD post plasenta. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuisioner pada 43 responden. Teknik sampling dengan purposive sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah keluhan yang paling banyak dialami responden yaitu nyeri pada panggul sebanyak 25 responden (58,1%) , nyeri perut sebanyak 20 responden (46,5%) dan tidak ada responden (0%) yang mengalami ekspulsi. Keluhan fisik yang dominan dialami responden berdasarkan umur, umur 20-35 tahun adalah nyeri pada panggul sebanyak 22 orang (68.7%), umur > 35 tahun adalah ganguan menstruasi sebanyak 3 orang (50%). Keluhan fisik berdasarkan jumlah anak, responden yang memiliki anak 2-4 orang adalah nyeri pada panggul sebanyak 16 orang (64%). Keluhan fisik pada responden berdasarkan lama penggunaan, pengguna IUD post plasenta selama satu tahun atau lebih yang dominan adalah nyeri perut sebanyak 11 orang (57.8%), sedangkan yang kurang dari satu tahun mengalami nyeri pada panggul sebanyak 16 orang (66.6%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlunya akseptor memperolah pendidikan kesehatan mengenai efek samping dari penggunaan kontrasepsi dan keluhan yang dapat ditimbulkan.
