Abstract

Abstract: Body image, self-esteem and self-confidence with the quality of life of menopausal women. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between body image, self-esteem and self-confidence with the quality of life of menopausal women. The study design was correlational study design. The study was conducted in Banjar village Bejuh Sesetan Outspoken South Denpasar in 2014. The sample with purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 45 people. The instrument used to measure body image is MBSRQ - US (Multidimensional Body - Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scale), measuring instruments for self-esteem is Rosenberg Self Esteem and measuring devices for the confidence with Epsilon Sigma Scale and quality of life measurement tool that WHOQoL. Data analysis using logistic regression. Based on the results of the study found no relationship between body image ( p = 0.019, OR = 6667 ) and confidence with the quality of life of menopausal women ( p = 0.049, OR = 5,063 ), but there was no relationship between self-esteem to quality of life ( p = 0082 ). The dominant factor is the quality of life associated with body image (p = 0.016, OR = 6.87). Abstrak : Citra Tubuh, Harga Diri dan Kepercayaan Diri dengan Kualitas Hidup Wanita Menopause. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara citra tubuh, harga diri dan kepercayaan diri dengan kualitas hidup wanita menopause. Desain penelitian adalah rancangan studi korelasional. Penelitian dilakukan di Banjar Lantang Bejuh Kelurahan Sesetan Denpasar Selatan pada tahun 2014. Pemilihan sampel dengan tehnik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 45 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur citra tubuh yaitu MBSRQ-AS (Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire - Appearance Scale), alat ukur untuk harga diri yaitu Rosenberg Self Esteem dan alat ukur untuk kepercayaan diri dengan Skala Sigma Epsilon serta alat ukur kualitas hidup yaitu WHOQoL. Analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi logistic. Hasil penelitian ditemukan ada hubungan antara citra tubuh (p=0.019, OR=6.667) dan kepercayaan diri dengan kualitas hidup wanita menopause (p=0.049, OR=5.063), tetapi tidak ada hubungan antara harga diri dengan kualitas hidup (p=0.082). Faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup adalah citra tubuh (p=0.016, OR=6.87). Kata kunci: Citra tubuh, harga diri, kepercayaan diri, kualitas hidup menopause
