Abstract

Abstract : The characteristics of the body image of cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship with body image characteristics of cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This type of study is correlational. The study sample of 30 people who met the inclusion criteria. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire MBSRQ - AS (Multidimensional Body - Self Relations Questionnaire - Appereance Scale). Characteristics of cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy mostly aged over 35 years is 23 people (76.67 %) of the respondents were married 29 (96.67 %). Most respondents had elementary as many as 11 people (36.67 %) and did not work 17 people (56.67 %). A total of 18 respondents ( 60 % ) have a positive body image. Of the four characteristics of respondents who were related to the body image of cervical cancer patients who underwent chemotherapy in Space Cempaka Sanglah Hospital East, there is only one that is significantly related, patient age (p = 0.017). Mothers aged 20-35 years have the opportunity to negative body image 0.042 times (95 % CI : 0003-0524) compared with women aged > 35 years. Abstrak: Karakteristik terhadap citra tubuh pasien kanker serviks yang menjalani kemoterapi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik dengan citra tubuh pasien kanker serviks yang menjalani kemoterapi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 orang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Pengambilan sampel dengan tehnik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuisioner MBSRQ-AS (Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire – Appereance Scale). Karakteristik pasien kanker serviks yang menjalani kemoterapi sebagian besar berumur diatas 35 tahun yaitu 23 orang (76,67%) jumlah responden yang sudah kawin 29 orang (96,67%). Sebagian besar responden berpendidikan SD sebanyak 11 orang (36,67%) dan tidak bekerja 17 orang (56,67%). Sebanyak 18 responden (60%) memiliki citra tubuh positif. Dari empat karakteristik responden yang diduga berhubungan dengan citra tubuh pasien kanker serviks yang menjalani kemoterapi di Ruang Cempaka Timur RSUP Sanglah Denpasar, secara signifikan berhubungan yaitu umur pasien (p=0.017). Ibu yang berumur 20-35 tahun berpeluang mempunyai citra tubuh negative 0.042 kali (95% CI: 0.003-0.524) dibandingkan ibu berumur > 35 tahun.
