Abstract

HUBUNGAN KETERSEDIAAN PANGAN DAN KONSUMSI ZAT GIZI DENGAN STATUS ANEMIA SISWI SMK NEGERI DI KECAMATAN TABANAN KABUPATEN TABANAN ABSTRAK Anemia merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan di seluruh dunia terutama negara berkembang yang diperkirakan 30% penduduk dunia menderita anemia. Anemia banyak terjadi pada masyarakat terutama pada remaja dan ibu hamil. Anemia pada remaja merupakan anemia yang banyak disebabkan karena kurangnya asupan zat gizi yang dibutuhkan untuk pembentukan hemoglobin, yaitu zat besi ( Fe), vitamin C dan tembaga Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan ketersediaan pangan dan konsumsi zat gizi dengan status anemia siswi SMK Negeri di Kecamatan Tabanan Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional di SMK Negeri 1 Tabanan pada Januari – Maret 2020. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswi kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Tabanan dan sampel berjumlah 83 orang. Data status anemia sampel dikumpulkan dengan mengukur kadar hemoglobin menggunakan Hb meter, ketersediaan pangan diperoleh menggunakan form food record dan konsumsi zat gizi diperoleh melalui wawancara menggunakan form recall 1x24 jam. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan analitik menggunakan uji Korelasi Pearson dan Spearman. Sebanyak 96,4% sampel tidak anemia,77,1% memiliki ketersediaan pangan dengan kategori tersedia, 54,2% memiliki tingkat konsumsi energi kurang, 32,5% memiliki tingkat konsumsi protein kurang, 88,0% memiliki tingkat konsumsi zat besi sangat kurang, 96,4% memiliki tingkat konsumsi asam folat sangat kurang dan 78,3% memiliki tingkat konsumsi vitamin B12 sangat kurang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa pada variabel ketersediaan pangan dan konsumsi zat gizi yang mempengaruhi status anemia sampel memperoleh p value > ɑ (p > 0,05) yang berarti tidak ada hubungan antara ketersediaan pangan dengan konsumsi zat gizi dan tidak ada hubungan antara konsumsi zat gizi dengan status anemia sampel. Kata kunci : ketersediaan pangan, konsumsi zat gizi dan status anemia RELATIONSHIP OF FOOD AVAILABILITY AND NUTRITION CONSUMPTION WITH ANEMIA STATUS OF STATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS IN TABANAN DISTRICT, TABANAN REGENCY ABSTRACT Anemia is one of the health problems in the whole world, especially in developing countries where an estimated 30% of the world's population suffer from anemia. Anemia occurs in many people, especially in adolescents and pregnant women. Anemia in adolescents is anemia which is mostly caused by lack of nutrition intake needed for the formation of hemoglobin, namely iron (Fe), vitamin C and copper. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of food availability and nutrition consumption with anemia status of State Vocational School students in Tabanan District, Tabanan Regency. This study was an observational study with a crosssectional approach at SMK Negeri 1 Tabanan in January -March 2020. The population of this study was X grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Tabanan and a sample of 83 people. Anemia status data samples were collected by measuring hemoglobin levels using Hb meters, food availability was obtained using a food record form and nutrition consumption was obtained through interviews using a 1x24 hour recall form. Data were analyzed descriptively and analytically using the Pearson and Spearman Correlation test. A total of 96.4% of the sample were not anemic, 77.1% had food availability in the available category, 54.2% had a low energy consumption level, 32.5% had a low protein consumption level, 88.0% had a very high iron consumption level less, 96.4% had very less consumption of folic acid and 78.3% had very less consumption of vitamin B12. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the variable food availability and nutrition consumption that affects the anemia sample status gets p value > ɑ (p > 0,05) whick means there is no relationship between food availability and nutrition consumption and there is no relationship between nutrition consumption and anemia sample status.
