Abstract
Abstract : Population growth lead to an increase in volume characteristics of waste. If there is a change in environmental, it’s can change the environmental conditions. Health promotion method with design of One Group Pretest Posttest to change behavior, it’s can increase knowledge and attitudes about waste management. The results of research conducted at SD Negeri 8 Sumerta Denpasar for education waste management using paired t-test, pretest scores of knowledge of grade IV and V students of 5.62 and 6.15. The results of pretest attitudes of class IV and V students is 5.59 and 6.70. The posttest value of students' knowledge in grades IV and V is 7.59 and 7.88. The posttest value of the attitude of students in grades IV and V is 6.21 and 8.48. The paired t-test results obtained sig (2-tailed) value (0,000) <alpha (0.05) then H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted, so there are differences in knowledge and attitudes of 8 Sumerta Denpasar Elementary School before and after getting health promotion video. Researchers for educators to add education about waste management, provide infrastructure so students can implement how to manage waste. For further researchers to add behavioral variables to perfect this study. Keywords: Video, Knowledge, Attitude, Waste Management
