Abstract
DHF is a disease caused by dengue virus infection which is still a public health problem. The presence of larvae monitors officers cadres is very important in efforts to prevent cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of larva monitors in the eradication of mosquito nests with the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in UPTD Puskesmas I Dinas Kesehatan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan. This type of research is observational with a case-control research design. This research was conducted in April 2020, taken by purposive sampling method with 68 cases and 68 cases were not affected. Data collection on the role of larva monitors with questionnaires and data on the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in UPTD Puskesmas I Dinas Kesehatan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan. Data analysis using chi-square. The results showed between the role of larva monitors with the incidence of dengue fever (p = 0.058). This study concludes that there is no significant relationship between the incidence of dengue with the role of larva monitors in eradicating mosquito nests Keyword : Dengue Fever, the role of larva monitors
