Abstract
Pesticides are dangerous toxic materials. Pesticide poisoning can be determined by checking the level of the enzyme cholinesterase in the blood. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of farmers behavior in applying pesticides and checking the cholinesterase enzyme in the "Utami Satya" farmer group in Gubug Village, Tabanan in 2020. This study was a descriptive study. The sampling technique in this study took all members of the sample from the population. Data collection was done by interviewing and examining cholinesterase. The results of the 14 farmersshowed that , 13 farmers had good knowledge, 14 farmers had a good attitude, 13 farmers had good actions and the results of blood tests were known that all farmers had normal enzyme levels. The conclusion of this study indicated that the farmers behavior in applying pesticides could be drawn as a good category. The advice which can be given at the moment is that the cholinesterase enzyme still need to be observed by farmers and do the seminar about the danger of pesticides for increasing their awareness, use Personal Protective Equipments completely whenever the farmers do a sprying pesticides.
