Abstract
PREVALENCE INTESTINAL NEMATODE PARASITIC INFECTION IN SCAVENGER GROUP IN TEGALLALANG VILLAGE, TEGALLALANG DISTRICT, GIANYAR REGENCY. ABSTRACT Prevalence Study of Intestinal Nematode Parasitic Infection in Scavenger Group in Tegallalang Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency. The study aimed to determine the presence of infection and the prevalence of intestinal nematode infection found in scavenger groups in Tegallalang Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency. The study was conducted from January to June 2018 on 20 scavengers. Six samples were found to be positively infected with intestinal nematode worm egg parasites, consisting of four samples of Ascaris lumbricoides eggs (20%) for one sample of Trichuris trichura eggs (5%) for hookworm eggs. as many as one sample (5%) while the negative number of intestinal nematode egg eggs was 14 samples (70%.). The group of scavengers living in Tegallalang Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency were used as research samples, and the examination was carried out at the Bina Medika Laboratory in Denpasar. Data processing techniques using descriptive methods. Keywords: Prevalence, infection, intestinal nematode, scavenger group PREVALENSI INFEKSI PARASIT NEMATODA USUS PADA KELOMPOK PEMULUNG DI DESA TEGALLALANG KECAMATAN TEGALLALANG KABUPATEN GIANYAR ABSTRAK Penelitian Prevalensi Infeksi Parasit Nematoda Usus pada kelompok pemulung di Desa Tegallalang, Kecamatan Tegallalang, Kabupaten Gianyar. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya infeksi dan prevalensi infeksi nematoda usus yang terdapat pada kelompok pemulung di Desa Tegallalang, Kecamatan Tegallalang, Kabupaten Gianyar. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai bulan Juni tahun 2018 terhadap 20 orang pemulung. Ditemukan sampel yang positif terinfeksi parasit telur cacing nematoda usus sebanyak enam sampel, ( 30 %) yang terdiri dari jenis telur Ascaris lumbricoides sebanyak empat sampel (20%,) untuk jenis telur Trichuris trichura sebanyak satu sampel (5%,) untuk jenis telur hookworm sebanyak satu sampel (5 %) sedangkan yang negatif telur parasit nematoda usus sebanyak 14 sampel ( 70 %.). Kelompok pemulung yang tinggal di Desa Tegallalang, Kecamatan Tegallalang, Kabupaten Gianyar yang dijadikan sampel penelitian, dan pemeriksaan dilaksanaakan di Laboratorium Bina Medika Denpasar. Teknik pengolahan data dengan menggunakan metode diskriptif. Kata Kunci : Prevalensi, infeksi, Nematoda usus, , Kelompok pemulung.
