Abstract

Abstract. Breakfast is the first meal in the morning entered the body and produce energy to do any activity. For school children, breakfast are important as a source of energy to study at school because learn need a long time. There are several causes of making kids do not do breakfast like no appetite, the menu is available in the table is less attractive, breakfast time is limited because of a hurry to go to school as a result of a busy mom woke up late and did not have time to provide breakfast in addition, according to L.Green person’s behavior towards the breakfast habit can be caused by knowledge or predisposing factors. Leave the breakfast habits will affect the nutritional status. Nutritional status is a balance that occurs in the body due to the consumption of foods or nutrients that are consumed every day. This study examines knowledge, breakfast habits and nutritional status of students at Belancan primary school, Kintamani district, Bangli regency. This research use observational and cross-sectional designed. Data was taken with the measurement and recording methods using questionnaires rocks. The data collected is then processed with software (SPSS Statistics 11.5), and WHO- Antrhoplus 2005. The study of 60 samples 13 samples (21.7%) with good knowledge, as many as 26 samples (43.3%) have sufficient knowledge and 21 samples (35.0%) had less knowledge about nutrition and breakfast. Of 60 samples 37 samples (61.7%) were breakfast and 23 samples (38.3%) were not the usual breakfast. As for the nutritional status of the sample, of the 37 samples were used to do breakfast known 3 samples (5.0%) fat nutritional status. While the nutritional status of a sample of 23 samples that did not used to do breakfast known 4 samples (6.7%) fat nutritional status, 2 samples (3.3%) nutritional status obesity and 1 sample (1.7%) malnutrition.
