Abstract

ABSTRACT: Mother post partum’s knowledge in the region of the public health centre of Kubutambahan I Buleleng regency was still low. In order to improve the mother post partum knowledge beforehand have been conducted education every perform integrated service post (posyandu) in at village hall regularly, and have been given leaflet for mother post partum when they was visit at integrated service post. Many mother doesn’t know betterly about care on post partum. Complication that have been occurred at mother post partum at region of public health centre I of Buleleng regency following bleeding of secondary post partum.This study aims to find out correlation between mother post partum’s knowledge on warning sign toward revisit regularly on post partum period. Research method have been applied in this study was correlational with retrospective approach. This study was conducted on 30 November until 28 December 2013. At this time have been got number of sample were 43 people through consecutive sampling method. Analysis data technique was applied with chi-square test.The result of this study shown most of post partum mother’s knowledge on warning sign at post partum period was less. Most of revisit regularly at post partum period were un-regularly category. Analysis for bivariate used chi square which showed p 0,001< α0.05.There was significant correlation between post partum mother’s knowledge on warning sign of post partum with revisit regularly on signs of post partum warning. It will be conducted improvment on public’s knowledge on sign of post partum warning. Keywords: knowledge, regularity visits to puerperium.
