Abstract
Flies were one of the most insect groups that develop in market areas and played a role in the spread of diseases, both as mechanical vectors of protozoa, bacteria and worms. The purpose of this studied was to determine the relationship between the leveled of knowledge, attitudes, and actions of food traders in controlling fly flies density in the negara public market in 2019. This typed of researched included observational analytic researched with nonprobability sampling techniques and chi square tests. The number of respondents in this studied were 53 food traders. The results of this study indicate that respondents have a low level of knowledge (52.8%). The attitude of respondents showed that the attitude of not supporting the control of flies was greater (54.7%). Respondents' actions about controlling flies were more negative actions (58.5%). The results of statistical tests using the chi square test obtained a value of p = 0,000 <α (0. 05) which means that ho was rejected or there was a significant or significant relationship between the leveled of knowledge, attitudes, and actions with the leveled of density of flies.
