Abstract

The Implementation of Sterilization Services at Central Sterilization Installation of The Central Public Hospital of Sanglah 2018 ABSTRACT Hospital as an institution that provides health services, try to prevent the risk of infection for the patient and the hospital staff. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of sterilization services at the central sterilization installation of the central public hospital of Sanglah. The data that used in this research are primary data and secondary data that available at central sterilization installation of the central public hospital of Sanglah in 2018. Data accumulation is done by using observation sheet and interview. The number and the type of the devices are already qualified according to the standard that had been appointed, the way to control condition and function of the machine, way to maintain the machine, qualified personnel, according from requirements the sterilization room is already qualified according to the standard that had been appointed. However there are things that have to be improved or added again so that the implementation of sterilization services at central sterilization can run more perfectly, so there will be no unwanted things happen. Keyword : hospital, prevent infection, sterilization services PELAKSANAAN LAYANAN STERILISASI DI INSTALASI STERILISASI SENTRAL RUMAH SAKIT UMUM PUSAT SANGLAH TAHUN 2018 ABSTRAK Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Sanglah sebagai institusi penyedia pelayanan kesehatan, berupaya mencegah risiko terjadinya infeksi terhadap pasien dan petugas rumah sakit.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk megetahui pelaksanaan layanan sterilisasi di Instalasi Sterilisasi Sentral Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Sanglah tahun 2018. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder yang terdapat di Instalasi Sterilisasi Sentral Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Sanglah Tahun 2018. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan wawancara. Jumlah dan jenis alat sterilisasi sudah memenuhi syarat, cara mengontrol kondisi dan fungsi mesin sterilisasi sudah memenuhi syarat, cara pemeliharan mesin sterilisasi sudah memenuhi syarat, kualifikasi tenaga juga sudah memenuhi syarat dan persyaratan ruangan sterilisasi telah memenuhi syarat sesuai standar yang telah ditetapkan di dalam Buku Pedoman Sterilisasi Pusat Tahun 2009. Namun masih ada yang harus ditingkatkan maupun yang harus ditambahkan lagi agar pelaksanaan layanan sterilisasi di Instalasi Sterilisasi Sentral Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Sanglah dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.
