Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF SPERM MOTILITY IN ACTIVE SMOKERS ABSTRACT Infertility is a condition where a married couple has not been able to have offspring after having sexual intercourse without using any type of contraception. Infertility can be influenced by several factors, one of which is smoking. This study aims to determine the description of sperm motility in active smokers. The type of this study used is deskripitive research with the sampling technique using purbosive sampling technique by taking 10% of 200 samples which means 20 samples. Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive. The results obtained were active smokers who consumed alcohol as much as 75%, exercised as much as 30% and smoked more than 5 years as much as 65%. The results of sperm in all active smokers used as respondents were obtained by Progressive (PR) 100%, while Nonprogressive and Immotyl did not exist. Keyword : active smoker, sperm, sperm motility. GAMBARAN MOTILITAS SPERMA PADA PEROKOK AKTIF ABSTRAK Infertilitas adalah suatu kondisi dimana pasangan suami istri belum mampu memiliki keturunan setelah melakukan hubungan seksual tanpa menggunakan alat kontrasepsi jenis apapun. Infertilisasi dapat dipengaruhi beberapa faktor salah satunya yaitu merokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran motilitas sperma pada perokok aktif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskripitf dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purbosive sampling dengan mengambil 10% dari 200 sampel yang berarti 20 sampel. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Hasil yang didapat adalah perokok aktif yang mengonsumsi alkohol sebanyak 75%, melakukan akitivitas olahraga sebanyak 30% dan merokok lebih dari 5 tahun sebanyak 65%. Hasil sperma pada semua perokok aktif yang dijadikan responden didapatkan hasil Progresif (PR) 100%, sedangkan Nonprogresif dan Immotyl tidak ada. Kata kunci: perokok aktif, sperma, motilitas sperma
