Abstract

THE DIFFERENCE OF TOTAL BILIRUBIN LEVELS THAT ARE CHECKED IMMEDIATELY WITH THE STORED AT 2-8oC TEMPERATURE ABSTRACT Laboratory tests are very important to help diagnose of the diseases. Examination of liver function is indicated to detect liver abnormalities. Bilirubin is the main product of the decomposition of old red blood cells. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the results of serum total bilirubin examination which was examined immediately with those stored at 2-8oC with the type of pre-experimental research (one group pretest-posttest), 30 samples selected by purposive sampling from the total population conducting chemical examinations clinic in RSUDD Sanjiwani Gianyar. Total bilirubin levels were examined by BiOLis 24i with the DCA method (Colorimetry test-Dichloroanilline). The average total bilirubin level decreased for 96 hours. Samples stored for 48 hours decreased the average total bilirubin level by 1.6% of the samples examined immediately. Samples stored for 96 hours experienced a decline in total bilirubin levels of 4.8% for samples that were examined immediately and experienced an average decrease in total bilirubin levels of 3.2% for samples examined for 48 hours. Based on the One Way Anova test conducted, the p value = 0.951 was obtained, that’s showing no significant difference in the results of the examination of total bilirubin levels examined immediately, 48 hours and 96 hours against total bilirubin levels. Pemeriksaan fungsi hati diindikasikan untuk mendeteksi adanya kelainan hati. Bilirubin merupakan produk utama dari penguraian sel darah merah yang tua. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil pemeriksaan serum bilirubin total yang diperiksa segera dengan yang disimpan pada suhu 2-8oC dengan jenis penelitian pra- eksperimental (one group pretest-posttest), 30 sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling dari total populasi yang melakukan pemeriksaan kimia klinik di RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar. Kadar Bilirubin total diperiksa dengan alat BiOLis 24i dengan metode DCA (Colorimetri test- Dichloroanilline). Rata-rata kadar bilirubin total mengalami penurunan pada pemeriksaan 96 jam. Sampel yang disimpan selama 48 jam mengalami penurunan rata-rata kadar bilirubin total sebesar 1,6% dari sampel yang diperiksa segera. Sampel yang disimpan selama 96 jam mengalami penuruan rata-rata kadar bilirubin total sebesar 4,8% terhadap sampel yang diperiksa segera dan mengalami rata-rata penurunan kadar bilirubin total sebesar 3,2% terhadap sampel yang diperiksa selama 48 jam. Berdasarkan uji One Way Anova yang dilakukan, diperoleh nilai p=0,951, menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil pemeriksaan kadar bilirubin total yang diperiksa segera, 48 jam dan 96 jam terhadap kadar bilirubin total.
