Abstract
AN OVERVIEW OF THE DENSITY OF FLIES IN THE PASAR KANGKUNG DESA PEMOGAN KECAMATAN DENPASAR SELATAN IN 2019 ABSTRACT Traditional markets at this time of course have started to develop from before, but environmental conditions such as garbage that exist in the market still attract a lot of attention. There are still many rubbish heaps that can reduce aesthetic values and certainly affect the breeding of flies. The purpose of this study is to find out the density of flies in the Pasar Kangkung Desa Pemogan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan In 2019. This study is a descriptive study and was done in the morning and afternoon for 3 observations. In the morning at 6:00 a.m averaged 6 tail/block grill and in the afternoon at 11:00 p.m averaged 5 tail/block grill. From each average of densities at the time of measurement is summed and divided by the number of measurement times is obtained 6 tail/block grill. This result represents the density of flies in Pasar Kangkung Desa Pemogan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan. Based on the Depkes RI In 2004 about the interpretation of measurement result at each location or block grill can be categoriezed as densely populated or need to secure the breeding place of flies and control measures (solid/high). Fly control efforts that can be done that is pay attention to sanitation such as eliminate the breeding place of flies as well by cleaning the selling area so that there is no residual waste from the buying and selling activities in the market that can invite crowds of flies.
