Abstract
Abstract. Third trimester pregnant women are pregnancy with gestational age range between 28-40 week. According to preliminary study that held on October 2013, they are only 15 person whose well-prepared their childbirth from mother and family mental preparation to face the labor, and 27 persons has not prepare their labor yet. The purpose of this study is to determine the knowledge of third of trimester pregnant women about P4K and labor preparation at Abiansemal village in 2014.. This study use descriptive method with cross sectional approach, held on December 2013, at Abiansemal village Abiansemal district Badung regency, by using purposive sampling method, and sample a mounts 36 person.. The result of this study show that the respondent age at Abiansemal village in 2013 are mostly between 20-35 years old, high/ vocational school educated, primigravida and occupied as housewife.. The knowledge of third trimester pregnant women abou P4K are mostly categorized as enough in order to prepare the childbirth from physical side, psychological, financial and cultural.. Suggestion that might be given for health worker is to provide child and maternal education continuously, especially arrange an education about the benefit and purpose of the labor planning and complication prevention program (P4K) and labor preparation Keywords: Knowladge, pregnant women, P4K
