Abstract

ABSTRAK Lansia merupakan bagian dari anggota keluarga yang setiap tahun bertambah jumlahnya. Tahun 2017 jumlah lansia di Indonesia terdapat 23,66 juta jiwa penduduk lansia Indonesia ( 9.03 %). Bertambahnya usia, akan berpengaruh pada penurunan kondisi fisik dan psikis dari penduduk tersebut. Penggunaan koping tidak efektif merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat memicu penurunan kondisi pada lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada lansia hipertensi dengan koping individu tidak efektif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan karya tulis ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatkan studi kasus dengan dua subjek di Wilayah Kerja UPT Kesmas Sukawati I. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan pada tanggal 15-17 Mei 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kedua klien dapat mengatakan proses penyakit yang diderita, mekanisme koping yang sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi dan, kedua klien mengikuti edukasi dan konseling yang dilakukan dibuktikan dengan klien mengatakan telah melakukan mekanisme koping yang sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi. Saran diharapkan agar klien melakukan kontrol secara rutin ke tempat pelayanan kesehatan apabila merasakan tanda gejala hipertensi dan tidak mendiamkan masalah yang dihadapinya sendiri. Kata kunci : Asuhan keperawatan, hipertensi, koping tidak efektif ABSTRACT Elderly is a part of family members who increase in number every year. In 2017 the number of elderly people in Indonesia has 23.66 million elderly people in Indonesia (9.03%). Increasing age, will affect the decline in physical and psychological conditions of the population. The use of ineffective coping is one of the factors that can trigger a decline in conditions in the elderly. This study aims to determine the description of nursing care in elderly hypertension with ineffective individual coping. The method used in the preparation of this paper is a descriptive method by bringing the case study closer to two subjects in the Sukawati Community UPT Work Area I. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation carried out on May 15-17 2019. The results showed that both clients could say the process of the disease suffered, coping mechanisms that were in accordance with the problems faced and, the two clients followed education and counseling which were proven by the client saying that they had made coping mechanisms that were in accordance with the problem at hand. Suggestions are expected that the client routinely control the health service when feeling the symptoms of hypertension and not silence the problem he faces himself.
