Abstract

PENGARUH DIAPHRAGMATIC BREATHING EXERCISE TERHADAP SATURASI OKSIGEN PADA PASIEN ASMA DI IGD RSUD KLUNGKUNG TAHUN 2019 Nyoman Ayu Sri Meldya Ryandayanti ABSTRAK Asma adalah gangguan inflamasi kronik yang mengalami obstruksi jalan napas karena hiperaktivitas dari saluran napas terhadap berbagai rangsangan. Sehingga menyebabkan bronkospasme dan hipersekresi mukus yang kental, ini akan menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan ventilasi dan terjadi penurunan saturasi oksigen hingga dapat menyebabkan kematian. Salah satu penatalaksanaan pasien asma yaitu dengan diaphragmatic breathing exercise yang dapat meningkatkan fungsi paru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh diaphragmatic breathing exercise terhadap saturasi oksigen pada pasien asma. Penelitian ini dilakukan di IGD RSUD Klungkung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan one-group pre-post test terhadap 20 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat pulse oxymetri yang diukur sebelum dan sesudah diberikan diaphragmatic breathing exercise. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan paired t-test dengan hasil nilai p value 0,000 < α(0,05). Dapat disimpulkan pemberian diaphragmatic breathing exercise berpengaruh terhadap saturasi oksigen pada pasien asma. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka diharapkan kepada tenaga kesehatan untuk memberikan diaphragmatic breathing exercise sebagai terapi non farmakologis pada pasien asma dan diharapkan kepada rumah sakit untuk memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini dalam pembuatan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) pelaksanaan diaphragmatic breathing exercise pada pasien asma. Kata kunci : Asma, Saturasi Oksigen, Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise   THE EFFECT OF DIAPHRAGMATIC BREATHING EXERCISE ON OXYGEN SATURATION IN ASTHMA PATIENTS AT IGD RSUD KLUNGKUNG ON 2019 Nyoman Ayu Sri Meldya Ryandayanti ABSTRACT Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder that experiences airway obstruction due to hyperactivity from the airways to various stimuli. So that causes of bronchospasm and thick mucus hypersecretion, this will cause a decrease in ventilation and a decrease in oxygen saturation that can cause death. One of the management of asthma patients is diaphragmatic breathing exercise which can improve lung function. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of diaphragmatic breathing exercise on oxygen saturation in asthma patients. This research was conducted at IGD RSUD Klungkung. This study used a pre-experimental design research method with a one-group pre-post test design on 20 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The data collection was carried out using pulse oximetry devices that were measured before and after a diaphragmatic breathing exercise was given. The results of hypothesis testing using paired t-test with the results of the p-value of 0,000 <α (0.05). It can be concluded that giving diaphragmatic breathing exercise has an effect on oxygen saturation in asthma patients. Based on these results, it is expected that health workers will provide diaphragmatic breathing exercise as non-pharmacological therapy in asthmatic patients and it is expected that hospitals will use the results of this study in the making of standard operating procedures (SOP) to implement diaphragmatic breathing exercise in asthma patients.
