Abstract
Health and Safety is one form of protection against workers from occupational injuries and occupational diseases that occur in the workplace. This study aims to determine the Relationship Level Knowledge And Attitude Workers With The Use Of Personal Protective Equipment In Wood Company Wayan repin Kelusa Village Payangan District Gianyar. The type of this study was observational with cross sectional method by interview using questionnaire which was executed in February until July 2018 which was done in Wood company Wayan Repin Kelusa Village Payangan District. The number of respondents in this study were 31 workers. Based on the chi square test it was found that the knowledge p value = 0,001 ˂ ά (0,05) value of CC = 0,514 and attitude p value = 0,002 ˂ ά (0,05) value of CC = 0,478. The conclusion of this study is that there is a correlation between the level of knowledge and attitude of workers with the use of personal protective equipment. Suggestions that can be conveyed are counseling and guidance to the workers on the importance of the use of personal protective equipment as well as the provision of PPE for all workers in the timber company. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Pesonal Protective Equipment HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PEKERJA DENGAN PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI DI PERUSAHAAN KAYU WAYAN REPIN DESA KELUSA KECAMATAN PAYANGAN KABUPATEN GIANYAR ABSTRAK Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja merupakan salah satu bentuk perlindungan terhadap pekerja dari risiko kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja yang terjadi di tempat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Pekerja Dengan Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri Di Perusahaan Kayu Wayan Repin Desa Kelusa Kecamatan Payangan Kabupaten Gianyar. Jenis penelitian ini observasional dengan metode cross sectional dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Pebruari sampai bulan Juli 2018 yang dilakukan di perusahaan Kayu Wayan Repin Desa Kelusa Kecamatan Payangan.Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu 31 orang pekerja. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi square diperoleh pengetahuan p value = 0,001 ˂ ά (0,05) nilai CC = 0,514 dan sikap p value = 0,002 ˂ ά (0,05) nilai CC = 0,478. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap pekerja dengan penggunaan alat pelindung diri.Saran yang dapat disampaikan yaitu penyuluhan dan pembinaan kepada para pekerja mengenai pentingnya penggunaan alat pelindung diri secara lengkap serta perlu penyediaan APD untuk semua pekerja di perusahaan kayu.
