Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE IN ELDERLY RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS WITH PHYSICAL MOBILITY DISORDERS IN WORKING AREA OF UPT KESMAS SUKAWATI I GIANYAR IN 2019 ABSTRACT Musculoskletal system disorders that are often experienced by the elderly include rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease where symmetric joints (usually the joints of the hands and feet) experience inflammation so that there will be swelling, pain, and stiffness in these joints which can cause the elderly to experience impaired physical mobility. This study aims to describe the nursing care in elderly rheumatoid arthritis with impaired physical mobility in the work area of UPT Kesmas Sukawati I Gianyar. The type of research used is descriptive research with a case study design on two clients with rheumatoid arthritis who experience impaired physical mobility. The method of data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation carried out on April 15-19 2019 in Banjar Angkan, Ketewel Village, Sukawati District. The results of the case study showed that after being given nursing care for five visits, results were obtained in client 1 and client 2 showed an increase in physical mobility after being given a nursing intervention in the form of complementary ginger treatment. Suggestions for clients and families of clients to be able to continue to provide complementary actions of ginger to reduce pain and stiffness in the joints. Keywords: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Impaired Physical Mobility, Nursing Care GAMBARAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA LANSIA RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS DENGAN GANGGUAN MOBILITAS FISIK DI WILAYAH KERJA UPT KESMAS SUKAWATI I GIANYAR TAHUN 2019 ABSTRAK Gangguan system muskuloskletal yang sering dialami oleh lansia diantaranya adalah penyakit rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis adalah suatu penyakit autoimun dimana secara simetris persendian (biasanya sendi tangan dan kaki) mengalami peradangan sehingga akan terjadi pembengkakan, nyeri, dan kaku pada persendian hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan lansia mengalami gangguan mobilitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada lansia rheumatoid arthritisdengan gangguan mobilitas fisikdi wilayah kerja UPT Kesmas Sukawati I Gianyar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus pada dua klien dengan rheumatoid arthritis yang mengalami gangguan mobilitas fisik. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan pada tanggal 15-19 April 2019 di Banjar Angkan, Desa Ketewel, Kecamatan Sukawati. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan setelah diberikan asuhan keperawatan selama lima kali kunjungan denganintervensi keperawatan berupa terapi komplementer boreh jahe didapatkan hasil pada klien 1 dan klien 2 menunjukkan pergerakan ekstremitas meningkat, kekuatan otot meningkat, nyeri menurun, kaku sendi menurun, kelemahan fisik menurun. Saran untuk klien dan keluarga klien agar mampu melanjutkan memberikan tindakan komplementer boreh jahe untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri serta kaku pada persendian.
