Abstract
NURSING CARE FOR MRS. M WITH KNOWLEDGE DEFICIT ON PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS IN THE WORKING AREA OF BANGLI PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER IN 2026 ABSTRACT Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and remains a public health problem in Indonesia. Knowledge deficit can affect patient adherence to treatment. In Bangli Regency in 2024, there were 94 TB cases with a treatment success rate of 99.7%. This case study aims to improve patient knowledge regarding pulmonary TB in the working area of Bangli Health Center in 2026. This study used a descriptive case study design involving Mrs. M with a diagnosis of pulmonary TB. The assessment showed a lack of understanding about the disease, treatment, and prevention, with a nursing diagnosis of knowledge deficit related to limited information After several days of health education interventions, the patient’s knowledge improved, although the problem was partially resolved. In conclusion, health education can improve knowledge in pulmonary TB patients. Continuous education and family support are needed to enhance treatment adherence. Keywords: Pulmonary tuberculosis, knowledge deficit ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA NY. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan kurangnya pemahaman pasien tentang penyakit, pengobatan, dan pencegahan penularan, dengan diagnosis keperawatan defisit pengetahuan. Setelah diberikan intervensi edukasi kesehatan selama beberapa hari, pengetahuan pasien meningkat meskipun masalah belum sepenuhnya teratasi.
