Abstract
AN ANALYSIS OF THE FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE BEHAVIOR OF OPEN DEFECATION IN THE MICROWAVE AREA PESINGGAHAN VILLAGE KLUNGKUNG 2018 ABSTRACT Open Defecation Free (ODF) is activity directed toward to the change in the behavior of open defecation toward latrines. The purpose of this research that is to know the factors that influence behavior of open defecation in the Microwave Area Pesinggahan Village Klungkung. The kind of research this including research observational with the approach cross sectional. Sample in this research that is 47 family. Test statistical testing using chi square. Factors that affect behavior open defecation namely knowledge (p = 0,031), the attitude (p = 0,014), and ownership of latrine (p = 0,000). The age (p=0,798), education (p=0,285), of hygienic water supply (0,421), the role of the medical personnel (p=0,173), and support from village officials, the community leaders dan the religious leaders (p=1,000) in analysis will not affect behavior open defecation. Submmited suggestion in this research are 1) for community, should be to participate in the use of latrine and increase ownership of latrine, 2) for Puskesmas I Dawan, should provide counseling on the use of latrine, 3) for further research is expected to examine other factors that have not been found in this research.
