Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXISTENCE OF AEDES AEGYPTI MOSQUITO THAT OBSERVED FROM PARENTED PLACE IN SESETAN SOUTH DENPASAR YEAR 2018 ABSTRACT The existence of Aedes aegypti larvae in a region is an indicator of the existence of Aedes aegypti mosquito populations in that area. The low level of ABJ in Sesetan about 94.42% from 95% of the national indicator is something to watch out for. The purpose of this study is to determine the existence of the larvae of Aedes aegypti mosquito which was viewed from parented place in Sesetan South Denpasar Year 2018. The research’s method was observation method that was an observation of the existence of Aedes aegypti larvae which was viewed from the parented place in Sesetan. Of the 357 examined containers, those positive containers of Aedes aegypti larvae inside of the house were 12% and negative were 88%. While the number of positive containers of Aedes aegypti larvae outdoor of the house were 3% and 97% were negative. House Index (HI) = 27.6, Container Index (CI) = 8.3, and Breteau Index (BI) = 29.7. The dominant type of containers what was most like by Aedes aegypti larvae was inside bucket of the house was 12% of container and outdoor of the house was 6% of container. The advices to the public are to keep attention and care to the surrounding environment and health workers of medical center should more optimize to monitor the activities of larvae of Aedes aegypti mosquito and do health counseling about dengue.
