Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MRS. M WITH ANXIETY DUE TO BREAST CANCER IN THE WORKING AREA OF UPTD PUSKESMAS MENGWI I IN 2026 ABSTARCT Anxiety is one of the common problems experienced by patients with breast cancer. This condition usually arises due to uncertainty about the disease, the treatment process being undertaken, and changes in the patient’s physical condition. This case report aims to describe the provision of nursing care for a patient experiencing anxiety due to breast cancer through the nursing process approach. This case study was conducted on Mrs. M at Mengwi I Public Health Center in 2026. The nursing approach used included the stages of assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention planning, implementation, and evaluation, which were carried out over four days. The results of the initial assessment showed that the patient appeared anxious, restless, and worried about her condition. The Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) score obtained was 22, which falls into the category of moderate anxiety. The nursing diagnosis established was anxiety. The nursing interventions provided included deep breathing relaxation therapy and Balinese classical music therapy with a duration of 15 minutes in each session. After the nursing interventions were implemented, the evaluation results showed an improvement in the patient’s condition, with the HARS score decreasing to 18, which falls into the category of mild anxiety. These results indicate that the nursing process approach through deep breathing relaxation therapy and Balinese classical music therapy can help reduce the level of anxiety in breast cancer patients. M DENGAN ANSIETAS AKIBAT KANKER PAYUDARA DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS MENGWI I TAHUN 2026 ABSTRAK Ansietas merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering dialami oleh pasien kanker payudara. Kondisi ini biasanya muncul akibat ketidakpastian terhadap penyakit yang diderita, proses pengobatan yang dijalani, serta perubahan pada kondisi fisik pasien. Laporan kasus ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pemberian asuhan keperawatan pada pasien dengan ansietas akibat kanker payudara melalui pendekatan proses keperawatan. Studi kasus ini dilakukan pada Ny. M di Puskesmas Mengwi I tahun 2026. Pendekatan keperawatan yang digunakan meliputi tahap pengkajian, penetapan diagnosis keperawatan, perencanaan intervensi, implementasi, hingga evaluasi yang dilaksanakan selama empat hari. Hasil pengkajian awal menunjukkan bahwa pasien tampak cemas, gelisah, dan merasa khawatir terhadap kondisi yang dialaminya. Skor Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) yang diperoleh adalah 22 yang termasuk dalam kategori ansietas sedang. Diagnosis keperawatan yang ditegakkan adalah ansietas. Intervensi keperawatan yang diberikan berupa terapi relaksasi napas dalam dan terapi musik klasik Bali dengan durasi 15 menit setiap sesi. Setelah dilakukan tindakan keperawatan, hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya perbaikan kondisi pasien, dengan skor HARS menurun menjadi 18 yang termasuk dalam kategori ansietas ringan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan proses keperawatan melalui intervensi relaksasi napas dalam dan terapi musik klasik Bali dapat membantu menurunkan tingkat ansietas pada pasien kanker payudara.
