Abstract

HUBUNGAN FREKUENSI KEMOTERAPI DENGAN NEUTROPHIL TO LYMPHOCYTE RATIO (NLR) PADA PASIEN KANKER PAYUDARA DI RSUD BALI MANDARA ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama pada perempuan. Kemoterapi sebagai terapi kanker dapat memengaruhi kondisi hematologis pasien, termasuk nilai Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) yang mencerminkan respons inflamasi dan imun tubuh. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara frekuensi kemoterapi dengan NLR pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Bali Mandara. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 pasien kanker payudara yang dipilih menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui pemeriksaan darah lengkap dan rekam medis pasien. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil : Mayoritas pasien berada dalam kelompok lansia awal sebanyak 17 orang (56,7%). Frekuensi kemoterapi ≤4 siklus dan >4 siklus masing-masing sebanyak 15 orang (50%). Sebagian besar pasien memiliki jumlah neutrofil normal sebanyak 18 orang (60%), jumlah limfosit normal sebanyak 16 orang (53,3%), dan nilai NLR normal sebanyak 24 orang (80%). Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai p = 0,327. Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara frekuensi kemoterapi dengan NLR pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Bali Mandara. Chemotherapy as a cancer treatment can affect patients’ hematological conditions, including the Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), which reflects the body’s inflammatory and immune responses. Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between chemotherapy frequency and NLR in breast cancer patients at RSUD Bali Mandara. Methods: This study used an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study involved 30 breast cancer patients selected using the consecutive sampling technique. Data were obtained through complete blood count examinations and patients’ medical records. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. Results: The majority of patients were in the early elderly age group, with 17 patients (56,7%). The frequency of chemotherapy ≤4 cycles and >4 cycles was equally distributed, with 15 patients (50%) in each group. Most patients had normal neutrophil counts in 18 patients (60%), normal lymphocyte counts in 16 patients (53,3%), and normal NLR values in 24 patients (80%). The correlation test showed a p-value of 0.327. Conclusion: There was no statistically significant relationship between chemotherapy frequency and NLR in breast cancer patients at RSUD Bali Mandara.
