Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR AN.A WITH HYPERTHERMIA DUE TO DHF (DENGUE HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER) IN THE CILINAYA ROOM MANGUSADA HOSPITAL IN 2026 ABSTRACT Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. A common symptom in DHF patients is hyperthermia (body temperature above the normal value of 36.5°C–37.5°C). The purpose of this case report is to address the problem of hyperthermia due to DHF in the Cilinaya Ward of Mangusada Hospital. The method used in this scientific paper is a case study with a nursing process approach that includes the stages of assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The subject in this case report is An. The results of the case report obtained An. A experienced hyperthermia with a body temperature of 38.9°C. The nursing diagnosis in this case report is hyperthermia related to the infectious disease process as evidenced by An. A's body temperature above the normal value of 38.9°C. Nursing interventions provided include hyperthermia management, education on body temperature measurement, and the application of warm compresses. Implementation was carried out over four days, resulting in improved thermoregulation. Evaluation results indicated that nursing care had been achieved. This case report concludes that appropriate nursing care can help address hyperthermia due to DHF. It is recommended that this approach be implemented at home, involving the family to help manage elevated body temperature. Keywords: DHF, Hyperthermia, Nursing Care ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA AN.A DENGAN HIPERTERMIA AKIBAT DHF (DENGUE HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER) DI RUANG CILINAYA RSD MANGUSADA TAHUN 2026 ABSTRAK Dengue haemorrhagic fever merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypty dan Aedes albopictus. Gejala yang umum terjadi pada pasien DHF adalah hipertermia (suhu tubuh di atas nilai normal 36,5°C–37,5°C). Tujuan laporanan kasus ini adalah untuk menangani masalah hipertermia akibat DHF di Ruang Cilinaya RSD Mangusada. Metode yang digunakan dalam karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan yang mencakup tahap pengkajian, diagnosis, intervensi, implementasi, serta evaluasi. Subjek dalam laporan kasus ini adalah An. A. Hasil laporan kasus yang di dapatkan An. A mengalami hipertermia dengan suhu tubuh 38,9°C. Diagnosis keperawatan pada laporan kasus ini yaitu hipertermia berhubungan dengan proses penyakit infeksi dibuktikan dengan suhu tubuh An. A diatas nilai normal 38,9°C. Intervensi keperawatan yang diberikan meliputi manajemen hipertermia, edukasi pengukuran suhu tubuh, dan pemberian kompres hangat. Implementasi dilakukan selama empat hari yang mendapatkan hasil regulasi temperatur termoregulasi membaik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa asuhan keperawatan telah tercapai. Kesimpulan dalam laporan kasus ini bahwa asuhan keperawatan yang tepat dapat membantu dalam mengatasi masalah hipertermia akibat DHF. Disarankan agar menerapkan dirumah dengan melibatkan keluarga guna membantu menangani peningkatan suhu tubuh. Kata Kunci: DHF, Hipertermia, Asuhan Keperawatan
