Abstract

Dental health education aims to improve public understanding and awareness of the importance of maintaining oral health, also eliminating, or reducing dental and oral diseases. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of knowledge of dental caries. This type of research is descriptive research using survey design. This research is not using sample, but using population total taken from allposyandu cadres in Abianbase village. The result of this research is description of knowledge level from posyandu cadres in Abianbase village, Mengwi sub-district, badung district in 2019, it is found that the percentage of posyandu cadres who have the highest level of caries dental knowledge are 28 people (43,08%), very good category are 20 people (30,77%), good category are 17 people (26,15%), there are no posyandu cadres who got less or failed. Average dental caries knowledge on posyandu cadres are 82,8 which is got very good category.
