Abstract

FAKTOR RISIKO GIZI KURANG PADA ANAK USIA 12 BULAN SAMPAI 60 BULAN ABSTRAK Anak dengan gizi kurang berisiko mengalami gangguan perkembangan kognitif dan motorik. Salah satu penyebab anak gizi kurang yaitu kurangnya pengalaman dalam pengasuhan dan pengelolaan pemberian makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor risiko gizi kurang pada anak usia 12 bulan sampai 60 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kuta I. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling dengan jumlah 50 responden. Variabel tunggal yaitu faktor risiko gizi kurang pada anak meliputi faktor risiko karakteristik ibu, riwayat berat badan baru lahir pada anak, riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan usia ibu mayoritas umur 20–35 tahun, pendidikan ibu sebagian besar pada kategori pendidikan menengah (SMA/SMK), pekerjaan ibu sebagian besar ibu bekerja sebagai buruh, faktor risiko berat badan lahir anak sebagian besar anak lahir dengan BBLR dan riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif sebagian besar anak mendapatkan ASI eksklusif. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat melakukan pemantauan status gizi balita secara rutin melalui posyandu dan edukasi kelas balita terkait pemberian makanan variasi dan bergizi. Kata Kunci : Faktor risiko, gizi buruk, balita RISK FACTORS FOR MALNUTRITION IN CHILDREN AGED 12 MONTHS TO 60 MONTHS ABSTRACT Children with malnutrition are at risk of developing cognitive and motor developmental disorders. One cause of malnutrition is a lack of experience in parenting and managing feeding. This study aims to determine the risk factors for malnutrition in children aged 12 to 60 months in the Kuta I Community Health Center work area. The research used a quantitative descriptive study. A sampling method was used. total sampling with a total of 50 respondents. Single variables, namely risk factors for malnutrition in children, include maternal characteristics, history of newborn weight in children, and history of exclusive breastfeeding. The results of the study showed that the majority of mothers were 20–35 years old, most mothers were in the secondary education category (high school/vocational school), most mothers worked as laborers, risk factors for child birth weight were mostly born with LBW and history of exclusive breastfeeding was mostly children received exclusive breastfeeding. It is hoped that health workers can monitor the nutritional status of toddlers regularly through integrated health posts and toddler class education regarding the provision of varied and nutritious foods.
