Abstract

A MIDWIFERY CARE FOR MRS "HD" 29 YEAR OLD MULTIGRAVID FROM 20 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY UNTIL 42 DAYS POST PARTUM ABSTRACT Continuity of care in midwifery improves maternal and neonatal outcomes. Integration of evidence-based complementary therapies offers a holistic approach to community maternal care. This report evaluates the effectiveness of a continuity of care model with complementary therapies in community midwifery practice. A descriptive case study using participant observation, in-depth interviews, and SOAP documentation was conducted from the second trimester to 42 days postpartum (April-October 2025) at PMB Baik Eti Senjayani. Pregnancy is physiological, care is provided according to 12T standards, with complementary care of lavender aromatherapy, birth ball, oxytocin massage, back massage, breathing techniques, hypnobirthing and baby massage.. Labor was physiological (stage I: 5 hours 7 minutes, stage II: 35 minutes, stage III: 10 minutes) with aromatherapy care, back massage, birth ball, and breathing techniques, resulting in a baby with an APGAR score of 8/9, weighing 3200 grams. Postpartum progressed physiologically with normal uterine involution and lochia, perineal wounds healed well through oxytocin massage and warm breast compresses. Optimal infant growth with a weight gain of 1000 grams in 42 days (31.25 grams/day), 100% exclusive breastfeeding with support from herbal galactagogue counseling. Continuity of care with evidence-based complementary therapies resulted in excellent maternal-neonatal outcomes, enhanced therapeutic relationships, and provided personalized, holistic care. Integrasi terapi komplementer berbasis bukti menawarkan pendekatan holistik dalam asuhan maternal komunitas. Laporan ini mengevaluasi efektivitas model continuity of care dengan terapi komplementer dalam praktik kebidanan komunitas. Studi kasus deskriptif menggunakan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi SOAP dilakukan dari trimester II hingga 42 hari nifas (April-Oktober 2025) di PMB Baik Eti Senjayani. Kehamilan berlangsung fisiologis, asuhan diberikan sesuai standar 12T, dengan asuhan komplementer aromaterapi lavender, birth ball, pijat oksitosin, pijat punggung, teknik pernapasan, hypnobirthing dan pijat bayi. Persalinan berlangsung fisiologis (kala I: 5 jam 7 menit, kala II: 35 menit, kala III: 10 menit) dengan asuhan aromaterapi, pijat punggung, birth ball, dan teknik pernapasan, menghasilkan bayi APGAR 8/9, BB 3200 gram. Nifas berjalan fisiologis dengan involusi uterus dan lochea normal, luka perineum sembuh baik melalui pijat oksitosin dan kompres hangat payudara. Pertumbuhan bayi optimal dengan kenaikan BB 1000 gram dalam 42 hari (31,25 gram/hari), ASI eksklusif 100% dengan dukungan konseling herbal galaktagog. Continuity of care dengan terapi komplementer berbasis bukti menghasilkan luaran maternal-neonatal sangat baik, meningkatkan hubungan terapeutik dan memberikan asuhan holistik personal.
