Abstract

Continuity of Care (COC) in Midwifery aims to improve the well-being of mothers and babies. This report aims to describe the results of midwifery care provided to Mrs. "OD", a 23-year-old primigravida, from the third trimester of pregnancy, through labor, postpartum, and newborn care. Data collection methods included interviews, examinations, observations, and documentation from the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) handbook. The care was provided from February to April 2025. During the third trimester, the mother experienced back pain, which was resolved through complementary care, and the pregnancy was categorized as physiological. The mother gave birth normally without complications. The first stage of labor lasted 6 hours, the second stage 45 minutes, the third stage 10 minutes, and the fourth stage was monitored within normal limits. During the postpartum period, lochia, uterine fundal height reduction, and lactation proceeded physiologically. Postnatal care was provided according to midwifery care standards. Neonatal development up to 42 days was physiological. Complementary care provided from pregnancy to the postpartum period included pregnancy exercise, counterpressure technique, kegel exercises, oxytocin massage, and infant massage.
